IDT Corporation
IDT keeps its corporate finger in several pies. The company makes most of its money through the IDT Telecom division (87% of revenues), which provides retail and wholesale phone services. IDT Entertainment, the company's second-largest unit, includes mostly animation and live-action production studios. It also operates a home entertainment distribution business. IDT Capital develops new businesses and is made up primarily of local media businesses. IDT Spectrum consists of the fixed wireless assets, including spectrum, of the former Winstar. IDT also owns a 41% stake in voice over Internet Protocol operator Net2Phone. Founder and chairman Howard Jonas controls IDT with 40% ownership.
